Great American Tire at 7010 Grand Avenue # A, Gurnee, Illinois.

"Made my day" experience... to make a long story short.. I noticed a flat front passanger tire in the morning, seemed a little too flat for just sitting over night (the tires were pretty old) upon filling, I noticed that the strut was bent/broken on that side and pushing the shocks into the tire hard. I used google to call "firestone gurnee" which i thought was this place "great american tire" i've had 3 cars serviced here over the years, and my family even more cars... so upon talking to "h wells in gurnee" i think its across the street on grand, they told me they were "done in pairs" which I was fine with as they other side may be going out also as it is a 1999 corola, the price quoted for simply the front "quick struts/shocks" was some 900 something including alignment. So just to check I called Midas.. they quoted something only 5-10 dollars off.. as a stroke of fortune, I brought my car here (where I intended in the first place) since they hadn't received my call like I thought, they looked up some prices and quoted some 300s for the strut work.. LOL... the guy handling service was not interested in doing extra work for no reason being a 1999 (honest work) and did only the passenger side... BUT here is where it gets good.. I got a new passanger strut/shock installed... AND 4 brand new tires... AND balancing/alignment AND they found a failing tie rod on the driver side... ALLLLL for $710... omg.. i got 3x the work done for 25% less cost.. I'm a customer for life! btw all the work was done fantastic.. alignment has been finally normal since i got this car.. and suspension is 100% go to these guys! I normally dont write reviews unless something super below or above par and these guys had it done in 2 hours... the other guys said tomorrow ..
